Reality(Smart) vs Non-Reality(Stupid)

I am not going to list where this story came from lets just say I found it online and leave it at that. It was an article talking about how a student protest group on a campus known for its share of protests did not make the Thursday night meetings to organize protests against the Iraq “war”aka US occupation. Their reason being this-it coincided with their favorite show Grey’s Anatomy. The article went on to talk about how technology being so readily available has helped to create a sense of semi-empathy and is partly to blame. Well here is a suggestion utilize the technology to tape the fucking show and get up off your lazy asses and make yourself heard-you are college students you should be able to sort out the fact that you can have your proverbial cake and eat it to by simply recording the show. Hell you can even get the damn thing on your ipod. I mean for fuck’s sake what is more important-who Meredith will whore around with each week or standing up for the real people dying senselessly over in Iraq. The war is real, Grey’s Anatomy is not-let’s hope college has something better to teach you than what it apparently already has not!
